Eat Wise, Work Wise

IGD is a research and training charity at the heart of the food and consumer goods industry, where its insights improve practice on issues such as health, nutrition, sustainability and economics. We were asked to create a brand and campaign to help make healthier eating in the workplace the norm. Based on gathered insight into the challenges and opportunities for businesses in promoting balanced food choices, Eat Wise Work Wise was created.

Development work

This project changed considerably during development. Initially called ‘The Workplate’ we designed several systems of visual look and feel, considering key outputs like their accreditation system. This approach was eventually (quite rightly) rejected for feeling too ‘farmhouse kitchen’ and not reflective of a modern workplace. Shown beneath is a more ‘campaign / protest’ look and feel showing the campaign name change to Eat Wise, Work Wise. The final project retained that ‘protest’ idea but demonstrated it in the more flexible ‘fork’ graphic system.
